Satomi Horikiri #2

―While you were filming for “Genpatsu no machi wo owarete(being forced to leave the town of the nuke),” was there anything you came to rethink?

Horikiri: I started to think a lot. It was that I did not expect those evacuated people to talk to me this much. I actually was not filming from the beginning…this is the picture of Saitama Super Arena…

―I heard that you have done some volunteer there

Horikiri: I distributed meals just for one day, for the rest… There was a space like this where people slept over…Mass medias were not allowed to come in this place. Where they could interview was only around the entrance. It was said that interviews were not permitted inside because people were sleeping with their mats like this, but I entered and was chatting with them.
